![]() Ğvery mission has to be played in one specific way (i.e turtle hard, mass soldiers, mop up the map, complete the actual mission) Mission objectives are seriously uninspired (Gather X amount of resources, have X amount of people, kill all the zombies). There’s no formations nor any hero abilities. Having all these issues compounded by a forced ironman mode, meaning that if you lose a mission due to all this arbitrary BS, you have to spend one, two or more hours redoing it again? Absolutely check Having some horrible exploration missions, in which you have to clear a whole complex with a single unit, thus having a glacial pace? Check (Seriously, Starcraft did these missions better back in 1998 for Pete’s sake) Having not only a metric ton of zombies in each map, but making new zombies pop in from thin air at previously cleaned up zones, resulting in the aforementioned result? Check ![]() Having one zombie slip by your base and wreck your base by destroying one house in three hits, resulting in a snowball of zombies? Check I really wanted to like this game, but it has some of the most godawful design choices I have ever seen on an RTS.Īs far as RTSs go, the game is pretty basic, but the developers tried to cover this up by adding metric tons of fake difficulty:
